Flourish is back for another year and is going to be better than ever! If you've been around for a few years, you will notice that we are changing things up a bit. And if you are new to the group, welcome! No longer are we just "Flourish Moms!" We are opening our arms even wider for all women to join us! Flourish Women is a place for all women to come to fellowship, to be encouraged, to feed our spirits with more of God's Word and to be rooted in Christ!

WHEN WE MEET...

Flourish Women will begin meeting on September 8th, 2023 and will continue to meet on Friday mornings, following the Dekalb County School calendar thereafter. We meet from 9:45-11:30 AM.

WHERE WE MEET...

Flourish Women will meet in the Upper Room of the "C" Building. Look for the blue entryway on the back right corner of the church.

WHAT'S NEW FOR 2023...

This year our study will be focused on two books written by Jen Wilkin. Jen is an author and Bible teacher who has written, organized and led studies for women! Her passion is to see others ground themselves in the Word and have a clear understanding of who Christ is! And that's exactly what we want! We want each of you to be rooted in Christ!

We will start the semester by reading None Like Him: 10 Ways God is Different From Us. God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible.

We're not. And that's a good thing!

Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God's limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.
